Traditional Alaskan Carvers
Alaskan natives have been carving for thousands of years as many of the traditional pieces were used as way to trade for goods with many of the trading vessels that would come through the Bering Sea or the Gulf of Alaska during the summer months. There is deep rich culture throughout all of the Alaskan Natives.
Many of the pieces of the carvings will tell stories or representation of the Alaskan Native Culture. I have a deep connection to continue this traditional way of carvings through my own uniqueness.
